What Happened

I did bring in a copy of Ubuntu 8.04, a version of Linux, to our meeting but since I was running a live CDť version, our video projector refused to display the laptop's screen. I'll have to admit I didn't foresee that problem. So, we gathered around the notebook and looked at it that way. Unsatisfactory!

What's Gonna Happen?

If I figure out the above puzzle, we'll try the demo again.

Where's it Gonna' Happen?

We meet at Chestnut Memorial United Methodist Church on Harpersville Road in Newport News. Our doors are always open to new members and visitors, too. Meetings are held each month at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday. Discussions are lively and provide useful information on how to get the most out of your computer hardware and software. Please join us for our next meeting. Guests are always welcomed. Bring a friend along the next time so you can both share the unique experiences at our meetings.

Our “start-up” group meeting for those new to computers and Windows meets an hour prior to the monthly meeting. If you need additional information or encouragement; please call me at 898-1679 or 898-3855.
